If you are not familiar with Ayrton Senna da Silva—he was a three-time Formula One world champion and was viewed by many as the best race car driver of his time and in the history of motorsports. Senna was killed 17 years ago on May 1, 1994 while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix in Imola Italy. This film is a tribute to his determination to be the best.

We are back again for round 2 of shows at Vic Bailey VW. This is the Spring Fling and is the sister show to the Upstate VW Oktoberfest. In October, we had 107 cars register with us at the show which was an amazing turnout for a first time show. Thanks to all who came!!!

This time we will have a car show area, new and used parts vendors, live music, food vendors and entertainment for the kids. There will be a nominal registration fee of which the proceeds will go to benefit the Children's Shelter of the Upstate in Spartanburg, SC. There will also be event t-shirts for sale with proceeds going to the named charity.

There will be 14 classes this time along with a Best of Show award. The classes include Best Beetle (custom), Best Beetle (Pre-67), Best Beetle (68-up), Best Karmann Ghia, Best Bus, Best Air-Cooled (Other including Type III, Kit Cars, etc.), Best Ragtop (all models), Best Rail Buggy, Best Dune Buggy, Best New Beetle, Best Water-Cooled (Other than new Beetle), Best Interior, Best Engine & Best Paint along with the Best of Show award.

We need parts vendors!!!! NEW & USED!!!! If you are a vendor, please contact us ASAP.
