Hard to believe that summer is almost over and it is already Labor Day! Come out and enjoy C&C with us to celebrate the end of summer and hopefully the sweltering heat. After more than 20 months we have routinely filled up both parking lots, lets see if we can fill the third one! Please invite a friend and come out and enjoy the coffee, the people, and especially the cars!

***IMPORTANT UPDATE:*** I have had several request for vendors over the last 12 months to participate in this growing event. Unfortunately the mall management has asked that we do not have any vendors displaying and selling their goods at our event. It is suppose to be strictly a social gathering and any 'selling of goods' is looked at by the mall management as competition from their tenets (as well as violates taxes laws, etc). It also takes up much needed space for C&C traffic as well as regular store traffic.

If you would like to bring flyers that explain your products and have your contact info on them that is fine, but displaying and selling is out of the question. We risk loosing the right to use the North Lake property if we have vendors setting up there. Thank you for complying and respecting this rule that the mall management has established.

***IMPORTANT PARKING REQUEST***Also they have asked that we leave the parking spaces directly in front of the Panera (on both sides) open for 'normal' traffic. It is apparent that some people that are not as car friendly and are part of the normal business traffic have parked there and opened car doors on other cars and not left much room. I would avoid these spaces to avoid a visit to the Dent Wizard! There is plenty of room in the adjacent lots for us to park.


As this event continues to grow and in order to keep it safe, fun and in tact we need to make sure of a few things:

The 8 AM start time is still working well so that we all can go about our normal Saturday business after a few hours gawking at great rides. It will also allow us to take advantage of the empty adjacent lots if we need them before the patrons and employees of the restaurants start rolling in around 11AM.

We are now on the radar screen of the Mecklenburg Police Dept's North Division, which is not a problem because we are on mall property which we have permission to be on, but on the access roads leading to the property and the main highway they will be patrolling 'helping' us adhere to the speed limits. So be cautious and slow down a bit. Also as a mature crowd continue not to peel out, race through the parking lots or ignore common safety.

In order to stay within the good graces of the mall management company please be kind and dispose of your trash in the trash cans around the property. We are doing a great job so far, so keep it up! I spoke with them and they are willing to add additional receptacles as needed.

Continue to support Panera and other businesses in the area, the management has gone out of their way to lobby mall management to keep this event going and prospering. A year+ into it and the mall management is still happy to host us.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you again and please pass the word to friends, neighbors and co-workers that want to bring out their rides.

Awards will be given in the following categories:
- Top Import – anything representing the import style
- Top Exotic – high end import and domestic sports cars: Lamborghini, Ferarri, Porsche, Corvette, etc.
- Top Classic – cars restored to or maintained near original manufacturer’s specs
- Top Muscle Car – Amercian cars modified with performance in mind
- Top Hot Rod – extemely modified classics and muscle cars
- Top Truck – Anything with a bed or seating for more than 5
- Top Bike – motorized vehicles with less than 4 wheels
- Best In Show – The winner of each regular category will be pitted against each other.

Awards will also be given in the following special categories:
- Top “Lemonade Flavored” Vehicle – only open to yellow cars! The best yellow car entered wins!

- Best Wheel Fitment – Bring ‘em stretched and poked! Your stance will be judged as a total package apart from your vehicle. Judges will also be looking at ride height, wheel size, final ET, and tire stretch. This should be an interesting category to say the least!

- Pastor’s Pick – Sharon SDA Church’s pastor will pick his favorite vehicle of the day!

REGISTRATION BEGINS - 12:00PM
JUDGING BEGINS - 3:00PM
AWARDS CEREMONY - 4:30PM

THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE! THIS IS A FREE SHOW!

No Alcohol. No Burnouts. No Drifting. No Loud Music. Those who choose not to follow the rules will NOT be tolerated and WILL be kindly asked to leave the premises.

We will be located out side again this year conviently near a gate. Those who are a part of the show not only get free parking but a free pass for admission (if we have enough to give any pasengers you bring with you will get a free pass as well) to the inside of the auto fair where there will be lots of things going on. Should be a pretty good turn out.

There will be trophies for those who win.
Some of the past catigories have been; best ///Mcar, best of show, best 90's BMW, best 2000 BMW, best pre 90's BMW...etc

PM me or post here for information/free passes. Incase its a question, no you do not have to be a member of BMWCCA to participate this is open to any BMW owner of any model.

Ill be posting up a map of were exactly we will be parked. This isnt a super strict car show so dont be shy to bring your ride out and show off it doesnt have to be anything crazy just something clean to represent the bmw
scene.


The turn outs are usually alright, but spread the word and more will come, we dont typically have time to post alot of info about at but i think this gives adequate time for people to join in on the party.


Also one more bit of info i wanted to post Guys and Gals...this event is FREE...if you want to come show your car off it will cost you nothing...and you will be givin the free passes mentioned earlier.
